The Apexi from the MY98 STi will not fit your MY94 WRX for the reasons you have already stated - yours is a 4 plug ecu & the later model is a 3 plug.
The Z4 ECU map is very similar to that of the Prodrive map but has a boost target of 12.71psig whereas the Prodrive map runs 13.64psig - It has a boost cut of 15.65psig. The Z4 & Z5 are the best JDM ecu's available as they run well on our higher octane fuels and don't have too aggressive ignition maps![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
