Default autotrader scams

my car is for sale on autotrader with my email and phone numbers all day i get we can sell you car for £99.50p we have a list of people to bye it and then i get home to this load of crap do they think we are mad or what

Hello,
how are you and your family ?hope they are all fine ?i am happy to have a trasaction with you and trust.I have been negotiating the terms of the business with my Associate and i instructed him to carry on with the transactionand I have proposed a payment method i will be making payment in advance to give your more assurance that i am highly intrested in buying the auto i will be trav
ling down to uk to pay you the balance you which i will be coming for a company contract .

i have agreed on the price of £18,200.00 for the auto .i will
contact my business associate in sending you a bankers draft of £6,500.00 to deposit in your bank account and cleared.

you will now deduct £2,000.00 for payment in advance for the
auto which is non-refundable and send the remaining £4,500.00
to my customer shipping agent for getting all the necessary document for the auto ready before i will be in uk .Presently i am working offshore in france .the car will be shipped to my family in singap0re because that is my home .

the last autoi bought there was a delay for the shipping agent before it can
pick the auto up deu to unavailabity of shipping document for the shippment
that is why i want him to get everything ready before i will be in uk
i will balance you when i get to uk . the remaining
balance of £16,200.00 payed into your bank account before i
can pick up the auto .

you will send the £4,500.00 to my customer's
shipping agent via Money gramm Money Transfer for the shipping agent to be able to offset shipping and other charges to be prepared. so everything will be fast .

Confirm this and provide name, address and phone number for bankers draft payment to be delivered to you via courier.I look forward to a successful transaction with you and await your urgent
response.

Regard
Sanowo

Neil.
Have come across this type of scam a few times.Usually they pay you with a stolen cheque and because it takes the bank an age to tell YOU that its stolen, people think that all is ok and send the scammer a cheque in return.
You'd be suprised at how many people fall for this type of fraud.Usually because they are greedy and think it sounds like a good deal.
From the bad typo/name it sounds like an African scamming team.Dont reply, keep the e-mails just in case. They are quite persisant,so expect a few more e-mails before they move on.Hope this is of some help.

They wait for a response .... no response means it ends generally.

Has anyone ever thought of a double-scam? Some way that they can think they have you, but in fact YOU scam them!! Wouldn't that be great!!!

Send the cheque, then cancel it immediately? I think you pay a small charge, but it's worth it...

Had this too, when I was selling my escort cab.
I was told they have a market for them.

I just told them to purchase my car for the low asking price and offer it to their market and make a tidy profit.

As you can guess they just wanted my money
