Do a search on here for saxonfield. It is a site that gives you info on reading the error codes so you can find out what is faulty.
Does your speedo work?

As roofer says, it sounds like your car is running in safe mode. Couldn't tell you why without looking at the car. Where abouts are you, sure someone could give you the name of a reputable garage near you.

If your speedo is not working your cel will come on and limit you to 4500rpm probably disconnected the cable part coming from the speedo when they were converting farting around with it. Nothing serious, Take it back to them.

The silver bit on the right should be plugged into the back of your speedo, have a check and see if it is in properly. Im guessing they also put a kmh/mph converter on as well? have you checked that part is connected as well, chances are it will be one or the other. welcome by the way son
