As far as Im aware there arent any Model Reports available to rent for 4EDs. This doesnt mean that someone hasnt paid for one, but Id be amazed if one existed without being touted for rent. Theres little that you can do other than wait for it to turn ten years old.

Its clean but dont think i could wait that long, how much import tax would i have to pay on it? if i waited til next year all i'd have to do is just register it (about £130) and mot it, isnt it? What could i sell it on for out of interest next year do you think?

Import duty @ 10% will be charged on the cost of the car itself and any commision/agents fees & costs Japan-side; as well as the cost of shipping it here. VAT @ 17.5% will be added to the total.

Classic prices are in freefall but they must bottom out soon as most older cars become too scruffy dure to their owner profile..... A claen STI will be worth good money to the right buyer*.

*I know a lot more about car importing than I do Impreza residuals though.....
