Default hayward&scott exhaust

thinking of an exhaust for 95 classic uk,hayward&scott look good. As the car is standard(for now),what else would you recommend as supporting mods?
panel filter possibly?
is a remap necessary?

I've been running a Hayward & Scott full de-cat and a panel filter on MY99 classic UK. Looking to have it remapped soon, but has been running fine for two years without it. Hope that helps mate. I also have a Hayward & Scott back box for sale if your interested.

revolution de-cat from downpipe back with 5" slash cut tail pipe or 3.5"

£285 includes gasket and all joining clamps, nuts n bolts
and it's 3" bore and nice and quiet

if you go full decat,ie down-pipe as well then you'd need a remap and 95s can't be tek3'd , so it would have to be apexi or similar

No probs mate. You should notice a big difference with the full de-cat, You will not want to go back.

I would keep the exhaust mate. As It would not pass without the old exhaust.

If you get the Revolution cat-back, why not get a Sports cat downpipe and then you can bin your old exhaust and not worry about arsing about with changing sections on the MOT.

About half-way down the page, Ninja Sports Cat - noticed it has finally gone up to £349 (was £299 when I bought it on an intro offer).

that is the problem i will have come MOT time
the revolution system is 3 piece

so i either change the whole system and use catted centre with standard back box
or
put the catted down-pipe back on
or
summink else

I go to H&S Saturday morning to get a sports cat downpipe fitted on my01 FOZZY. I was originally going to have a decat but after talking to my mechanic who reckoned that swapping it on the MOT day and then swapping it back again was at least a two hour job and would cost me approximately £75 if not a bit more. I was a bit shocked by the price but I think the pros far outweigh the cons.

thought a sports cat d/pipe gives almost as much power as decat d/pipe?

Hayward & Scott 100 cell high flow down pipe (only 2 BHP loss over decat pipe & MOT friendly)

H&S Up pipe

H&S Centre pipe straight through

I already have short section from PPP & Backbox.I may change the BB depending on sound levels from the above pipe work.

Followed by a Tek3 re-map with Pat Herborn to get everything flowing nicely.

Which resulted in :-

290bhp up from 252bhp

275lbft up from 263lbft

Boost 1.3bar up from 1.2bar.

I am a happy bunny
