i have a 98 impreza turbo estate, if i boot it giving it more than half throttle in 4th n 5th at 3500-4000 the engine kicks in n out is this a common problem restricter or fuel line issue?

any help welcome, i drove a 1.1 pug 106 before so never experienced this until now

A rather vague description.
It could be many things. Does it have a boost guage???
Over boost, boost cut?
Spark plugs, ignition leads or coil pack???
Tell us a bit more.

 

as far as i know its completely standard, no extra boost or anything just ya standard issue estate
