Question

Help and advice appreciated. (In gold of course).

1. Where's the best place to get them?
2. Are they available from any other source other than main dealers/prodrive?
3. What are the alternatives?
4. Costs

Also how does the handling compare. My MY01 now has Eibachs.

Cheers.

Kev S

sorry guys. They dont exist to fit standard impreza stud pattern or offset.

only ones available are the wrc style tarmac stage ones at the mo. These are magnesium and are £450 a wheel if you are lucky.

Pete from scoobysport used to be able to get these I think, give hm a call and try.

The OZ Prodrive wheel for MY'01 is the closest to the Super Ts, and like Adam said goes for about 450 per wheel-n-tyre (hope thats the ones you were referring to Adam).

I've got em in silver and they look great, they are also available in antracite and gold, and weight about 8kg each. They are what they put on the UK300 as standard.

They seemed to improve the sure-footed-ness (excuse my grammar) of the car a lot, certainly improved the overall handling, and would you believe made the ride softer with PZero Rossos on.

However, the P1 OZ wheel is available via other sources at a lot less than dealer prices (Note - this is not the SuperT)
http://www.performancealloys.com
Have a look here, very impressive prices if they really can deliver on them.
Otherwise you should be able to wangle a discount of 5-10% from the dealer on the £1800!! price of wheels with Pzero Rosso's

Question

Guys,

I realised they were the Prodrive version of Super T's, which is what concerns me. I've been quoted £1250 with P Rosso's from Wheelmania, which seems too cheap. Can they supply Prodrive Wheels, and are they simply quoting standard Super T's?

see www.wheelmania.co.uk

My choice would be Anthracite 18's OZ Superleggara's on a MY01 DBM.

They fit don't they?

I don't think they are readily available though. I tried ringing a few places.

Jza - springs working well?

I put 17" Super L's on my Eibach adjusted MY01 was told 18"'s would look slightly better but offered no improvement in road holding

I imported them care of a good friend

Looks good though IMHO of course

aparently there are some LTD edition gold superleggaea`s in 8x18 size, saw them in pax mower mag or something. i think NAM had them too, could be wrong though.
wheelmania is very competative, just bought some 17" OZ chrono evos £870 delivered, with falken 205/45/17`s tyres. delivered within a couple of days.

regards mike.

Question

I've checked out http://www.performancealloys.com thanks. They have the wheels for £695 (PI WRC), inc VAT and delivery.

Has anyone bought these wheels from anywhere other than main dealers?

the wheels I am talking about are OZ super Ts not Ls. Have only seen them on P2000 in gold.

17inch super ts are avaliblae for old shape imprezas but these are the volution versions specialy for the impreza, and they look nothing like the far better looking standard super ts which do not fit our cars.

The magnesium rally tarmac stage wheels look like all other super ts, hence why I wanted them, but they cannot be bought for sensible money and are probably too soft for road use.

Adam M,

Surely wheels designed for Rallying on Tarmac would be much harder on the rims than normal road use.
