Does anyone have any information on the Forester STi ?

Are these over in the UK?

What are the details, below is the Japanese link, but my Japanese is not that good.

 

Link also has pics/short movies of new Impreza. Being the Official Japanise Subaru site you would like to think it would anyway!

 

I shouldnt think there would be any STI Foresters to be brought in unless prodrive bring in a few of em.They brought in a couple of B4s and as far as I know they gave Robbie head one of them.Just seen the link,what the hell is a Pleo and who makes it?

Pleo is Subaru's K-car, the Pleo RS in black is one very cool car.
64ps from 660cc supercharged engine and 6-speed sportshift CVT, it's quite a fast little car as it's very light.
The Forester STi is basically a Forester S/tb with STi parts fitted.

 

I thought the Forester Sti, a "S/Turbo with STi parts fitted", was therefore, an Impreza in station wagon clothing!

Its performance etc coming very close to a std UK Impreza turbo.

But looking like a school run car!

 

I was not aware Subaru made such a car.Does it have a Subaru badge on its bonnet?

Forester S/tb has 240ps engine, Forester S-turbo has 170ps engine. Former is Jap spec and latter is export spec.
All Subarus in Japan does not have the Subaru badge on their grills/bonnets, instead a badge of the respective model is fitted (i.e. the Pleo will have a 'P' badge and Impreza a 'i' badge).

 

I seem to remember one of the mags (EVO?) were recently running a Forester with Prodrive bits which probably pretty much the same. I believe Prodrive do do a catalogue of Forester bits (cue Mike "too busy to sit at his PC all day" Wood).
