8 seconds is not true. The car is fast but not 4.5 cerbera fast.

I'd be suprised if Ian or one of his guys said that?

Think thats the power output for their type 25 versions. They will do 0 -100 in about 10 secs

I know who you are referring to mate. Ian Litchfield is a regular on here and well respected. He sells good cars and is a good fari guy to deal with.

His spec C doesnt do 0-100 in 8 seconds though

Type 25 is late £30's I think. There are not many around and even less with a few K's on the clock for sale.

couple for sale on his site for £28-£29K

Get it done by Litchfield and you get a warranty with it, rather than modifying a UK car and losing it.

Out of the box its a quicker car than an M3 (E36 evo or E46) as a lot have found out (and thats no poxy uk fuel remap either, proper JDM map and standard exhaust.
Are these powerful?
318bhp and 356lbs of torque on the last rolling road, keeps her about right with loosening up (16k miles now)

Just out of interest my MY06 Spec C with a Miltek exhaust and 'standard UK fuel remap' is over 340bhp and 340ft lbs of torque. (Done at 1000 miles)

This was on BP Ultimate - with Snottymax expect over 350bhp, some are near 360bhp so I hear. I think this will be right once the engine has loosened up a little.

With these outputs expect very low 4s for a 0-60 time and a sub 11s 0-100 possibly even pushing 10s.

To get near 8s 0-100 you would need another 100bhp at a guess.
