Default Womens maternity leave question

Wife is due in the middle of the year. Hopefully staying off work till the end of the year and going back in January.

Whats the law with regards holiday?

Is she entitled to her usual 2 days per month up until she leaves work or is she entitled to her full years worth?

Ideal would be that she saves all her holiday and takes a month of her maternity time off as annual holiday.

Gary

ps ....personally I reckon she could go back to work the same day, she would have to if she was a water carrier in Africa.....blurry womens lib

All benefits accrue on time off for maternity leave, so she'll still be entitled to whatever she normally gets.

she should still accrue holiday at the normal rate as it counts as continuous employment....

She could of course supplement her income by selling stuff on Ebay
