Also, isn't this just sex on wheels...? Hard to believe it's a 15 year-old car...

Veilside kits always look good, bit flimsy though.
Shame about no Subaru's featured though.Guess the top brass at Subaru are badge snobs too and don't wish to be associated with the max power generation.
Nice looking cars though & no expense spared since its Hollywood.

Sadly Micky remarks like this contribute to why other drivers view Subaru owners as arrogant ****** who believe they own the best car on the road.
I dont see how advertising the car in a film which WILL be seen by millions of people is a bad thing for Subaru or Subaru owners? people can see and appreciate on screen the driving capabilities of the car on the road instead of looking at evo's & skylines.
I find your last remark very childish.
And before anyone comments on the lexus lights, big mistake, soon removed & ebayed.& dont suggest i ebay my car either.

I can appreciate Veilsidewrx's effort and that it's his car etc.
But it's not to my liking, overcooked and banished the original lines of the car with that front bumper. Back end looks sound though with out lexus lights . Personally not a fan of Veilside kits, far too extreme for my liking

I am not a big fan of the front bumper on my car but its part of the kit & how Veilside do them and charge a lot of money for.And there is no point changing the front bumper as then it won't match.
I did not fit the kit as my car was imported with it on & apart form the mistake with the lights its as i bought it,apart from some alloy engine bits.It was originally Veilside's car in the 90's & used in various Jap shows & magazines. This info i received after an enquiry from myself to Veilside.
I know its not to everyones taste & somedays i do look at a standard Impreza Type r with envious eyes.
But there is a big Subaru scene that many people on here don't appreciate, but as ive said before there is more to Subaru's than Sonic Blue,Gold Wheels,STI spoilers & pink badges.

I see where your coming from and i agree with you totally about the whole subaru scene being broader than the general consensus on SN . I have seen your car before then if it's veilsides actual one at least it's different from the rally slag look. I like the Japanese street look, just that bumper gives me a headache looking at it, it's so busy i can't focus on what i want to as there's so much going on . It would look 100% better if the bumper was filled with a FMIC.
Bet it gets some attention where ever you go though

ALLOY,FMIC & a very bright blue hard pipe kit now fitted & there is even more to look at on the front end of the car! Like i said its not my favourite part of the car,the mirrors & rear spoiler are.
Its a bit like driving around in a "ufo" as people stop & stare for various reasons as its not something you see every day. They normally hear the discreet Subaru rumble coming 1st
Also its insured with an agreed value of £9000 and i dont think many 12 year old impreza's are insured on a classic car policy with that value.
