Default Gearbox specs

As the search facility is down at the moment I can't find out the gearbox specs (ratio's etc) so can anyone help??

The gearbox number is: HL - TY754VN1AA

There is also another small sticker next to this number and thats displaying: 342888

Any help and ifo greatly appreciated.

Your gearbox mate is from a standard UK/Europe Impreza Turbo 2000 / GT MY99 so the specs are widely available!

Did find a site which has codes and all the gear ratio's etc however my number isn't shown I really hope the search facility on here gets sorted asap so I can try to find out the ratio's and other specs.

i also could do with finding out what diff is needed for this 5spd box code

Richalfa yours is from an US Impreza WRX MY02 with the following ratios: 3.454, 1.947, 1.366, 0.972, 0.738, 3.333(reverse) 1.100(t.r.) 3.900(f.drive) Viscous (4kgf) center diff, Open front diff.

I dunno , turn off the search and you're all lost !!

The ratios are: TY754 VN1AA

3.454:1
1.947:1
1.366:1
0.972:1
0.738:1

The ratios for the VN2AA are the same. The boxes interchange. If you need to know about a rear diff - it will be 3.545:1

Exactly as Jim posts.
