IIRC best from a full tank was 350 worst was 270. £30 lasts me upto 2 weeks but its not main car anymore.

UK cars IMHO are pretty good fuel wise. Used to have a GTIR which never broke the 200 to a tank barrier!

It takes about £46 of optimax to fill the tank and i get about 280 miles on that. So...about 120?!

Whatever it is, it's not many, but then i knew that before i bought it. That's why it's our second car and my wife drives it more than me, about 30 miles a week and the rest of the time it just sits there. Hold on a minute...

I used to have a (chipped) GTi-R too, that had real sh!tty fuel consumption, about 11mpg i think i worked it out too, sometimes hitting 9.

If your looking, best bet to find a UK car if your worried about how many miles your going to get.... Unless you drive like a grandad and forget to use the turbo you will never get great mpg..

£20 gives approx 80-90 miles for me on casual throttle. Even less if the turbo is whining away . Smile on my face...PRICELESS

i do 90% on the motorway

i fillup with about £35 and have done around 240 on the 1/4 tank remaining line.

so i get 130-140 miles for my £20

at 70 miles a day that adds up to ALOT! but its great, especially if i get a job closer to home (but on A-roads) *crosses fingers*

I find my MY05 WRX costs 15p-17p a mile on Optimax but I do mostly do long-ish journeys. So in answer to your question 120-130 miles.
