Default Carbon Doors ???

I have got some filler in my back doors on my classic MY96 RA and the doors do seem quite heavy

Is there anyone who could/would make me a pair of rear doors for a Subaru from Carbon Fibre ?????

Thanks
Chris.

Speak to Legacyturbs on here...

Although it would be unwise to fit carbon/grp doors on a car without a full weld in cage if you use it on the road, they won't offer anything like the crash protection of the standard steel doors!

I think your doors would cost more than your car, much more!
Unless one-off carbon fibre components, left & right door would be individule, have come down in price.

I always thought you were talking mega-bucks for this kind off stuff. Anybody know for sure?

It depends whether its laid-up wet or proper pre-preg carbon fibre autoclaved; now that will cost a fortune. They both sort of look the same, but the former is more akin to GRP and it has little of the strength associated with carbon fibre.
