Cool GET SOMEONE TO DRIVE YOUR CAR SO AS YOU CAN LISTEN!!!

Got one of my (lucky) mates to give it some welly down an industrial estate today while I stood like a gimp/ trainspotter watching and listening - MY04 STI with TSL 333 (grp N exhaust including sports cat.) Totally deserted and long stretches of road etc. **** me, I nearly jizzed meesell (so did my mate who was driving) as it sounded fantastic. Not only that, I also realised just how feckin fast that car is!!! Just had to post!!

I have also tried this myself, its great satisfaction when u discover the car sounds even better on the outside than from the drivers seat. Me and my brother took turns at driving each others cars, also we got really sad and filmed it.

Only other person to drive my car without me in it is my GF. It is cool to hear Scoob burble especially when its your car.

Its a bit like watching someone bonk your misses. Your kinda pissed its not you, but you know it looks good.

someone driving past in your car, while you watch on is like "watching someone bonk your missus"
You need help m8, it's nothing like it at all, I'd imagine

Funny you should say that - we did exactly the same yesterday on the industrial estate where I work. My mate Luke (Comper100 on here) has just had a new decat H&S exhaust fitted to his Legacy Turbo. He'd not heard it from outside before, so I did the decent thing and offered to drive it for him!

It's so true about feeling a complete gimp standing listening on the side of the road! Luckily there were only a few learner drivers about so it could have been worse.

I'd recommend it to anyone - I just can't wait to get my new H&S fitted now!

Wink

I just fitted a new boost gauge to me car and i thought i'd film it working so i decided to put my speed runs of my old V6 vectra as well.

We should set up a post about your in-car (out-car) footage of our cars doing what they made for.

Im not saying we should start speeding on public roads but car-parks and stuff should be fun!!!

My head's thrashed after watching those Vectra videos. They're like some bizarre art video you were made to watch in your art class at school

I was working today, missus came down to work just as I finished so followed her home. Couldn't really hear the Prodrive exhaust as she has our little lad in the car so taking it easy but it looks great from behind

Thought you'd like it! Especially with all those pops, bangs and flames! Tis a beast.

You'll have to repay the favour when I get mine sorted - get some video clips as well!
