Default MY01 Tuning Advice.

Fellas,

Ive decided to go for the ecutek with remap from Andy forrest.

Can you lads recommend An air filter/induction kit

Also an exhaust system ? il take it right back to the turbo.

Am I likely to have the OBD light come on and stay on ? if so is there a way round that ?

cheers lads.

No need for a induction kit, better to do a search but this is waht should come up, uprated panal filter.. Green , Sti , or JR, decat exhaust turbo back, when doing this u might do the up pipe too, if it ain't been done, wrx, the re-map should be able to put off any cells that come on...these are based on a wrx as I don't know if it's an sti u have well it would be very similar, wrx should manage about 270- 290 ish figures

Bloody hell!!!

I 've just noticed that I forgot to add an "ecutek remap" to my list of mods - sorry if I've given the impression you'll get those figures by just changing a few parts...

You should definately get it remapped if you're taking out the cats and putting on a performance backbox.

DOH!

Should read:

ECUTEK remap
GREEN Cotton Panel Filter
Walbro 255 fuel pump
Magnex decat centre pipe
Magnex 6x4 oval backbox
Modified actuator "thing" (can't remember what the name of the little brass "thing" that enable them to exceed 1 bar)
