Im thinking about getting an S2 Block shipped over from yank land, Has anyone got any experience on these blocks or imprting them in general. and IMOPRT TAX lol

Andy used the R1 didnt he, which was a stroked 2.2L.

 

Im not sure what he uses tbh

 

I am placing my order through Subaru4You in Newbury. www.subaru4you.co.uk, Len has installed a short engine from them recently. Might be worth you giving him a call to see if theres any advantage in ordering 2 short engines at the same time.

I bought an R1 short block from Crawford 18 months ago and it's been the best money I've spent on the car !!
Sadly the R1 spec with CDB and piston cooling is no longer available

I'm trying to as low cost as possible biuld with a little somthing extra lol. theres no piont re biulding my 2.0, it would cost so much more i think.
