Default HALFORDS SUPER BRILLIANCE BULBS

Hi all
said bulbs currently on BOGOF in HALFORDS - £12.99 for 2!!!
Bought a pair yesterday - waiting for daylight at the weekend to fit them.
Anyone else been using them?
Cheers

Do you mean the ones in the gold packaging? If so then yes, and very I was very impressed. Quite a big improvment on the originals. And as it was 'buy one, get one free' I thought, why not?.

Yeah, had them in for around 12 months now from when they were BOGOF last year. Changed my sidelight bulbs aswell for some phillips ones cos they were a totally different colour to the new bulbs, found they were a slight improvement on the classics std lights (which aint hard)!

bought some headlight and side light bulbs as a pack off ebay a few days ago, about that sort of price delivered.

same wattage so not brighter as such, but does what it says on the tin (or packet!) and casts a whiter light as opposed to a yellowy halogen light.

really shows up the roads a lot clearer, time will tell how long they last but could be worth a punt?

Bought some of these a while back, they show up the close objects/road a lot clearer... but, they dont seem to have any depth to them, so if your on a Dual Carriageway or fast A- Road, its difficult to see any distance...

Gazza...

I looked at these on Thursday ..... picked them up, put them down, picked them up and put them down again ...................................

£13 seems good for 2 bulbs - but, are they any good?? Same wattage = same output power as originals ................... I decided I would be as conned as those who buy CockLinks, so left without them.
