Default Standard boost pressure? 93WRX

Can someone please tell me what a standard 93WRX Impreza would run in terms of boost pressure ? Mine is showing about 1.0bar or so, is this standard?

Thanks.

No it is not standard boost you have there.

standard is 11.47psi, dropping to 9.47psi at 6600rpm. With Fuel-cut @ 14.87psi. - about 0.79 psi

Thanks, a table I have just checked shows that 15psi = 1bar, so I am wondering what mods have been done to the car before I got it.

have a look inside the ECU. If running 1 bar I expect there will be an additional chip in there (probably with a label on it). If not then there must be a boost controller somewhere. Either electronic or mechanical.

Excuse me for being thick, but where would I find the ECU on an Impreza ?

Thanks.

Passenger side footwell.
Pull carpet back and remove ally kickplate (4-Off 10mm nute/bolts)
ECU is under there.....

Be careful with philips screw driver when opening, those screws are made of putty and have been threadlocked.

Cheers, will have a look and see. Sounds like something has been done to it though the people I bought it off said there were no mods other than the exhaust and suspension.
