oil temp/pressure sender units

Default oil temp/pressure sender units

ok got my new guages now and was thinking where is the best place to fit the sender units?
have seen a adaptor plate that fits on the oil filter are these any good?

I purchased a replacement sump plug and got it drilled and tapped to fit the oil temperature sender. I then got a remote oil pressure gauge T-piece, item 9 page 199 part number 095 in demon tweeks red catalogue. The oil pressure switch is sited below the alternator. Hope this helps Steve

I've been thinking I need the same thing since my engine lost half its oil when the crankshaft oil seal went last week!

I did see the adapter in the red DT catalogue, I wonder if it would fit our filter?
