holes in my case, its not gonna short circuit anything is it?

just the side of the case so not going to touch anything obviously. Id just rather not take the m/b & everything out but wondered about earthing and an electric drill etc...

Err don't do it with all the kit inside Definitely remove everything first, just the vibration could cause damage to components and you don't need any metal shavings you can't see shorting out components, not to mention anything else.

I'd be more worried about metal fragments getting into the circuits and shorting something, can't the side be removed

one side does yes, i was going to remove that then put some sort of protection inside, like a cloth? lol i sound like a right cowboy. was just hoping not to interfere with the m/b
