In all fairness, the issue doesn't seem to be with MSN, but your private life!! (not being judgemental, just making an observation)

Pretty sure you can't trace the conversations, as it's "live"....

If you have messenger plus installed, for example, this can log your conversations (also encrypting them) without affecting the MSN settings.

Also other kinds of keyloggers can do the same thing.

Do you talk in your sleep?

Probably a guilty conscience!

I'd ask your b/f to show you hard proof, preferably whilst he's sitting at the computer, that he's seen your MSN conversations.

As said by others, unless there is additional software on the machine, then unless the conversation history option is enabled, MSN won't record chats. Of course, whose to say that the person you were talking to didn't have the conversation history option turned on and they have not then passed this info onto your b/f.
