Default Time to sell my babie????

I think its time to sell my Black 03 WRX Sti type UK...

We are thinking of moving abroad and don't know if it is a good idea to take the car with us.
My wife thinks it would be better to the car.

I was wonder what you educated people thought..

If I was going to sell how much do you think she would be worth? (18000 miles)

Cheers for any coments

Dont want to burst your bubble. But you're lOOking around the £13.5k standard, upto £14.5 PPP'd. I just bought an Black 04 STi with 10k for £16k and have now seen them cheaper than that...

They are going cheaper like, bought my 03 Sti with TSL 333 pack 23k on for 14.5 a few months ago, private sale too.

shame really as its nearly a 30 car new and to think in 2/3 years its lost hlaf its value.

It is bad. I can't believe that even at those silly reduced prices, people are still struggling for a sale.

I'm quite prepared to lose some money, that's part of the fun. I always class it as the enjoyment price. I also just try and add more bits to it, to keep the price & vehicle above others... (At least that's how i explain it to the better half )

It's a strange world. I bought a new Impreza (MY98) almost new and it lost half it's value after 2 years. Then in may I bought exactly the same car again (a MY98), have since put on 15k miles and it's still worth the same as when I bought it.

I've sworn never to buy a new car again!

i wouldnt have thought the STi 8's will go much cheaper then 12 to 14 at the mo, seems to be a bottom price for the age of the car at the moment as most WRx's with PPP are still about the same price, thats why i ended up getting the STi as it was around the same price as getting the WRX.

Do not take the car with you as it generally ends in tears. It's an import for one, and not an official one, so insurance is always way more. You will never keep it for ever, so when you come to sell, it's harder to sell when people realise it's history is not local to them. This and more can come back to bite you and then it's all too late. Best to sell, take the hit and buy a new one over there.
