Empty car with all standard equipment, (spare wheel, jack, O/E stereo etc) oil and fluids and small amount of fuel and no driver.

weighted my MY97 at the weekend. 3/4 fuel and no one in it. hardly any junk in it of any weight consern

1283Kg

so i dont know if that figure of 1235 is empty or full ! i've got big brakes and Sti8 wheels, so they are heavier (?) than the oem 15"'s, but capliers are way lighter, discs are heavier... . exhaust is SS, so lighter than OEM too.

Each model varies and the newer cars are heavier. Consult your hand book for the guide weight but take the car to the local public weigh bridge for an accurate figure.
My STi 6 Wagon is about 1280kg after dumping some bits (spare wheel etc) but adding others eg sound proofing.
