im going round in circles trying to start this car the is no cel light or cat on fire light only oil and battery when the ignition is on i have checked all the fuses rellays wiring i connected the 2 black connecters and the cel light dident appear. the fuel pump isnt reciving 12v any help??

 

Sounds like the ECU is not connected properly, this will give a lack of CEL and no fuel pump.

Hi Andy. Do me a favour and recheck the two green fuses under the bonnet. The front one protects the electric windows, central locking and will also cause your cel not to light. The rear one is for your fuel pump and sparks. I checked mine and thought they were ok. It wasn't untill I changed them that the car fired up on the first turn of the key. Don't do what I did and overlook the easy stuff trying to find your problem.

ive checked these fuses twice once with my eye and once with a multi meter but it was that fuse!!!!! neva trust fuses i have a car now!!!! cheers scoobymark!!!!!
