Default Front Disc and Pad options

Hi, I need to replace my front disc's and pads on my 1999 mk 6 turbo wagon and am after some suggestions on what to purchase. I am currently using EBC disc's and Red stuff but after 15k was left with heat cracks, not ideal as I do a lot of motorway driving but they are relatively cheap, looking at some older threads there seems to be support for the EBC options, Black Diamond KBD809 disc's and PP372 pads or Tarox 20 groove disc's with Feroda DS2500 pads.

What would you suggest for someone who is doing approx 30 to 40k miles a year but still enjoys a good rag at weekends?

I'd avoid anything Black Diamond, I know a few people with bad experiences

Tarox G88 40 groove with Tarox fast road pads
They come with full TUV approval.
Good for every day use, fast road and work on the odd track day
Very good all round in our experience
