Default Slow Subaru Drivers

All this power, 4wd, loads of grip, but there does not appear to be many fast Impreza drivers at the ring.

However, I actually met a fast driver at the ring last weekend!

Well done that fella!

Maybe theyre so used to 'cruzin' around the town/local McD's on a Saturday night that they cant shake the habbit when they get to the ring

If they catch you with a video camera they will not let you on track. Although in fairness alot of people get their passengers to video a hand held lap. Just make sure you turn the camera away if you see an accident or any marshals.

Gary

ps I assume you know it closes end NOV or before if the weather turns nasty early.

Probably cause they dont want to damage there expensive car, I think I could probably get a car that cost under £2k round, faster then my scooby, cause if it blows up or I smashed it up, I wouldnt be as bothered.

Everytime Ive been to a trackday, the cheaper cars which where stripped out with tatty bodywork and scuffed up rims, where quicker then any big powered expensive cars with loads of shiney bolt ons.

This weekend there was a M6, F360, quite a few GT3's, Merc SLK roadcar (400000 euros ) AMG S500, Carrera GT. All worth a bit more than a scoob so whats the problem?

...and a Mosler!

To be fair, I don't think cost has anything to do with it.

My problem is that I havent enough money to spank one of those beauties around a track.

But i was trying to say, that I wouldnt care as much if I had a old tatty car to thrash round, but as my scoob is my only car, I wouldnt want to trash it.

Also Im thinking of taking my scoob to the ring next year, but ive never drove a car on a track, have watched a few cars go round Castle Combe etc, but never driven, so its a bit scary compared to the straight line drag racing im used to.
