Think its 7500 rpm but not 100% sure !

 

Thinking about it, the new UK 2.5 sti is basically a remapped US sti engine so can we assume it redlines the same ?

can anybody confirm ?

 

I don't get how our American friends get 300hp out the box, and we get 280?
Our fuel is about the same octain (they use RON+MON/2) but it's still very close.

Redline is as you say probably same as US spec not JDM spec.

the 300 is probably usa bhp bit like there drag times.....

Just to reiterate then, is the redline of the US 2.5sti 7500rpm ?

 

It's all guesswork until we see one in a UK dealer as specs can change.

Yeah i agree, but i'm sure the likes of mike wood , ian litch or highlander69 have a good idea and no problem in releasing this sort of information. My local dealer claims a new impreza next week !
