Get yourself a nice set of Recaro or similar fixed back buckets no chance of falling out of them i can barley get out my OMP seat in the rally car.

No, same car, same colour, even the same city, but tis another CumbrianScoobs Mid!

I have uprated my seats though.

MY01 with the airbag seats to a Blue STI set.

The old ones were more comfortable and supportive.

You seem to sit on the STI ones, instead of in them.

They do look nicer though.

We changed our WRX 04 seats to the STI 8 seats and no words can describe what an improvement these are, and they are so comfartable compared to the WRX Back Breakers

Jabbroni

Will the real midlife please stand up........LOL

Like mmmiddy I went for the STi seats, they are quite different to the WRX seats but can't quite put my finger on what the actual difference is. The seat sqab is narrower across the hips on the STi seats but you don't "sink" as far into them as compared to the WRX jobbies.

I'd have a sit in them first if someone you know has them

Cheers

Midlife.....

theyre the same recaros found in some top vauxhalls arent they? I think the stardard sti seats are rubbish for holding you round a corner, but theyre much more comfortable for the journey home

removing old seats and sorting out airbag light was a doddle. subframes were a BIATCH to find as i wanted to skimp out on the origional recaro subs which cost £180 each (would have cost more than the seats by the way as i got them dead cheap)!!!!! bought 2 sets of different subs and in the end i had to get some custom ones made. but it was all worth it!
