Its a long shot but does anyone know if an RS200 has a speed limiter (JDM)?

A mate of mine has got one and seems to be hitting some kind of soft limiter in 5th at about 120-130 (on an airfield day). I think the specs say its Vmax is about 150? I have done a google but not found much info?

yes it does at 112, friend has an auto one and its like hitting the red line just not as harsh.

he had loads of trouble getting it removed, part he bought came with japaneze instructions and the diagram had all the wrong coloured wires on it.

It was finally removed when he supercharged his and got an ECU replacement in the kit.

Great, thanks for that - it seems his speedo must be over reading also.

Will get out with a GPS and test it next time we can.
