yeh but I will bet that if you turn up at one of their fitting centres with a slipping clutch and they strip it to find burn marks on it (and the flywheel) from flying starts and 6000rpm off the line dumps your claim will be filed in the bin!

As long as it aint been used for motorsport! and aint a taxi it will be replaced with a new clutch and all labour and recovery payed for. The fitting centre cannot reject the claim, the clutch gets sent back to the manufacturer. Sounds to good to be true.

Looks like a good deal, would check the small print though. QH have been around for years so are probably a better bet than some new kiddies that might be around. Assuming the price difference with the competition is minimal, you can't have much to lose.

LIMITED Guarantee!!!

read the T&Cs:

2.2 In accordance with the detailed exceptions set out below, the warranty attaches only to installation of the Product in private passenger cars being used under normal operating conditions

3.2 The warranty does not apply to:
iii) alterations to, abuse of, negligence, neglect of, or misuse of the Product by You or any authorised user of the vehicle;

v) malfunction, incorrect installation or misuse of another component which results in or contributes to the Product’s failure.
In other words...if its abused it's not covered....nearly all premature clutch failures are caused by abuse by the driver - mostly by people riding the clutch at junctions / in traffic...remember...neutral + handbrake when you stop, and no burn outs or standing starts

Same goes for increasing the BHP.

you'll be all pleased to know that QH don't currently make an impreza clutch.

So what do they do? they factor in Borg&Becks and rebox them! Get in there!

The provisos are ***** - how can they possibly prove whether the clutch has been abused or has just had a lot of miles on it? Just cos it's a bit blued are they gonna say no?

And they won't go out of business - they're owned by http://www.affiniagroup.com/ who are pretty darn big.

hmm... big brother is watching.

after speaking with a Mr. Dave Lewis, one of the quality guys from QH, It's been demonstrated to me that they can tell whether the clutch has been abused. So don't try it on is the lesson here! Although it still seems like a good deal.
