Angry Ive had it with scooby ownership

HI Guy

My days on here are very numbered.My 99 turbo scooby has cost me a bloody small fortune since ive had it.

approx 1900 quid so far

and started it this morning to a nice big bang and the cam has gone.

So if anyone wants to to buy a 99 turbo with a engine prob contact me

induction kit

Full subaru service history its like new its a shame its done 100,000

But i just cant deal with it anymore

With my limited knowledge I would look at the induction kit. The 99 cars are know for their fragile maf sensors and induction kits see to upset them big time as they can not filter down low enough.

Im not sure that a filter will affect the camshaft though..........

I agree with james...i sold my scooby and bought a shogun and i have to tell ya.....WHAT A MISTAKE!....even going out in my GTR is not the same! I NEED TO BUY A SCOOBY!

I would of thought cam failure is very rare, looks like youre just unlucky mate

That's very unfortunate, sounds like you just got a dud mate. Condolences. How many miles has it done and previous owners etc... Did you get it inspected prior to purchasing?

Iam looking for offers for the above mentioned car.It does still start but sounds like a biscuit barrel failing off a shelf.

How much can i expect for it ???

I'm thinking of changing my JDM wagon for a shogun ( need more space for dive kit) so how bad is the shogun experience ?
