Default Evo magazine - Spec C report

Just read the article and poured over the pictures.

Given the way Litcho's car has been presented with evo's typical objectivity and mastery of photography, I am now a convert......except the rear lights.

It's funny how car fashion, like that of the high street, always goes full circle. I can see fish-eye owners now, desperately waiting for someone to manufacture standard looking non-standard rear lights

The black interior looks business like and purposefull and the chassis sounds like a dream. I'm a great fan of the STI9 set up, but it seems the latest incarnation has taken the game a stage further.

What's the score with that. Will it be on the shelf or is it "special" and for subscribers only?

Subscribers now get a clean cover with just the pic and no text.

It does look rather nice doesn't it? I think Jethro's 8.00 'Ring time will be interesting to follow.

I assume the content is the same (not read mine yet) as the shop edition. The simple cover is nice.

I prefer the proper covers. It would be a boring place if we all liked the same.

The article does show it in a very good light. Maybe there is still hope for the MY06 pessimists.

Read the EVO article re the Scooby Spec C Noticed it has Type 20 mats in so I presume its a 2.0 litre - they noted the engine capacity as 2.0 as well. I presume there will be a Type 25 - 2.5 version as well?
I did like the all black seats - Not a fan of the blue alcentera of the current STI - should be an option on UK Scoobys

The car just had the only mats we had at the time. We're working on a new Type-25 at the moment. The Black Spec C will remain standard until early next week then it will be converted to a new Type-20 (2.0litre) in time for the Tuner GP event
