DCCD Auto - Rear wheel 'bind'
Pulling from a T Junction with a sharpish left or right hander, under moderate acceleration the rear feels like they are 'binding' and locking up..
Also, going round a smallish roundabout that is quite bumpy
the wheels again appear to bind / tighten up.
Aceleration isn't hindered and there's no noise of undue worry..
Both of these don't feel 'natural' in the sense that the car isn't under a lot of stress as I'm not going too fast...
Is this the rear diff doing its thing to aid the grip?

I get this on mine, an early classic with DCCD fully open. Its more pronunced if you've stiffened up the rear ARB. Makes the car 'hop' a bit. Always assumed its the inner rear wheel spinning then grabbing
Hi
I have a JDM WRX Type-R V-limited no DCCD, its rear diff has a Cusco LSD and on a 4X4 road test nearly all the drice was from the rear.
When I turn as you have discribed the inside wheel, left or right, looses grip and spins a little bit as if letting the cluch out to quick. This only happens when driving slow and turning or pulling away from a junction.
On mine it has allowed the rear end to drift-out nicely under power, when on the PRIVATE ROAD.

If you have a plate type rear diff, it is standard , more-so with the dccd wound up more, If it stop`s doing it then it`s time to worry :-) the cusco I would think would be even louder, I always run at least one click of diff and when parking etc lift the handbrake till the light comes on, opens the diff, also usefull for handbrake turns / donuts etc
Have a good one
