Default *** The STi 8 PPP has gone ***

Well that's it !

After approx 9 years of Subaru ownership and 4 cars

UK Turbo
RB5
UK300
STi8 PPP

the Sti8 has gone to a very good new home.

Ive had a great time, but its time to move on for a while and enjoy a different type of motoring for a change.

Not quite sure yet but probably some kind of two seater. All will be revealed soon !

Things that make me smile over the years of ownership are:-

Getting pulled in my UK Turbo on the first day of ownership after about 10 miles ! Allegedly my rear fog was on ! How did I know the car was strange !! He let me off

Keeping a clean licence the whole time !!!

The local meetings I started arranging

The Scooby Ball

Definately the runs out on the Peak Tour etc - Brill !

and the many friends I have met on here whom I will still be keeping in touch with. To name a few

MarvSti5
Paul Scooby66
Dazza01
Ted Ed
Salsa King
Adam(scooby clinic) - Came to his first ever meet which was mine then took over bless!!
TSL crew
Gridlock Mikey
Tony G
KVY6N

etc

It goes on and on and I have probably missed loads !!!!! Sorry

Anyway I'll be in touch for those nights out and hitching a lift on the Peak Tours

Thanks for all the good advice off here and the silly comments and jokes - Great

Steve

Thats a difficult one. They were all slightly different

I guess the most special looking back was the RB5,

But the Sti was by far the quickest best handling etc and much better than a WRX with PPP. Still can't get my head round why people think thats a better car

The Uk 300 was an aquired taste but I firmly believe that car was the real turning point for Subaru in the UK along with the import restriction lift. Kind of took the exclusivity away and of course the prices dropped like lead ballons from that point.

However I have been looking at the pictures of Litcho's new Spec C. Very nice and exclusive for a short time, but unfortunately it will go the same way as the last two models. Would be nice to be special for a short time though
