Right as some of you may have noticed form my project thread im off to get myself a 2003 WRX (non STI) lump tomorow.

The car is a rear end right off - and Im gona see the engine running before removal - what shoudl I look for?
Obviously I will check the usual leaks and squeaks and critically the cam drive sprockets. Any other tips??

The main reason for my posting.....I have to remove the engine, ECU and full engine wiring loom including the ingition key etc and relays.

Can anyone give me a quick and easy romoval guide please - engines no prob its getting the wires etc thats gonna be the main hassle. In particular those behind the dash. How do I disarm airbags to remove steering wheel and dash? or is this not neccesary.
