You can't adjust the join date.

As for location, go to User CP (top left) and choose Edit Profile. You'll see the box for your location on that page.

 

why do some have varying realistic join dates and I have 1970????

There have been a few different versions of Scoobynet.

I think it's something along the lines of - if you joined Scoobynet Mk II your date was always 1970. I think it's a bug.

I'm sure someone who knows the full story will arrive soon.

 

When you say joined do you mean, logged in with a user name etc, or paid a membership fee??
I ws using the 'old' Scoobynet as well??
