The centre pully gets damp sometimes and a squirt of wd40 on the bearings will drive the moisture out nicely.

probably removes the grease too !!

Mine have always done it despite having them tightend on several occasions. Try getting them tightend up first. A small squirt of WD40 onto the belts while they're moving is a short term fix.

I was told that they get bit stiff due to getting cooked by the heat of the engine and that makes them sqeak, a new set of belts is the cure.
