Need to Change Insurance company

After having problems with 2 insurance companies in about a month, I am now looking again for a competative quote.
My biggest problem is that the car lives on the street in the middle of a city, and it is slightly modded (nothing performance...yet!!).
Who would be good to contact in my situation, tried Tesco, Direct Line chain, NFU, Privelage, RAC, Greenlight and many more.
For reference my problems were.
RAC - Told me that they would not cover a brake upgrade to 4 pots. They had previously told me that this would be OK.
Greenlight - All set to sign up, but when we checked the details, they had noted that the car was stored in an underground carpark (I never told them that, unless I f'ed up on their website). When i said on street the revised price was £200 more with a £400 increase in XS, to top it off the guy hung up the phone on me before I could try to salvage the deal.

Definately give Jeremy a call.
We both have access to the same rates that we have negotiated for Grey Imports, Standard cars, modified cars etc...we are still working on Track Day stuff...but these little extra bits and pieces will follow in due course...
We both run Scoobs...can relate to your problems and will try to assist where ever we can...
