Default What is realistic power gain with TD05-20g?

Contemplating getting a TD05 18 or 20g, but noticing that power outputs quoted by people on here can be vastly different.

Currently I just have full decat, tek3, panel filter. It was RRd by Power engineering (who did the map) at 275/284.

If I bolt on a TD05 either 18 or 20g and get the car remapped, what power increase should I see?

I gained about 80 bhp and 60lb/ft after fitting a 20g,FMIC,550,walbro and a remap on an STi 4.

What gain you'll make depends on what i/c injectors etc you have.

You also have to consider the gearbox and clutch will take more abuse and may need upgrading.

What model is the car UK/WRX/STi?

I took my Sti v3 with 3'' decat (no other mods) @ 314 x 286, and '20g'ed it' with other external mods, and RR at 407 x 340.

The 314 engine was nicer to drive, but the 20g engine is just out of this world.

For full details, see my '911' thread in Projects.
