Default Nearside Wing Mirror Wobble?

As above, the nearside wing mirror is wobbling ...... like the motor is at its limit and 'clicking'??

Drivers side is ok .....

Common fault? Anyone else had it? Is it about to fall out?

I really need it when I burn off all those tossie bikers with their friggin' main beams illuminating the horizon!!

This could be the start of the MAF or the big end failing Pete. I suggest pre filling a new oil filter to see if that helps.

I did wonder if the mirror was picking up some electro-magnetic radiation from a failing MAF Sensor .... the metalized backing is probably acting as an aerial and confusing the ECU (maybe an urgent £300 Re-Map required??)

Does you car have electrically retractable mirrors. Mine started to wobble once. I folded then opened mirrors and its been fine since.
