i bought a power flow exhaust for my scoob just a few months after i bought the car, it made a slight difference but really made the car sound alot better especially on full throttle.

Now is the time though to change as i have been turned to the dark side..... there is a silver sti version 1 or 2 (cant be sure which) where i live (thurso) and it has what i can only assume is the vortex exhaust fitted, angled exit and just really looks like it. well it drove past me the other day and i have to say..... that was something else.

i have been looking for ages for second hand ones but they dont come up often and when they do i'm usually the last to know or i dont have enough coin spare to buy it.

Thing is i have found a TSL firestorm backbox for sale and at a reasonable price, so what i'd like to know is which is louder or are they on par.

Never heard a Vortex, but the firestorm is very loud - too loud IMHO, but many people like them.

Iv got a vortex afterburner on my scoob and it is loud as hell And thats why i got it,A mate of mine also had one then changed it to a tsl firestom as somone told him they were louder.But all i can say is there is hardly any diffrence at all.


Sod it the vortex is miles louder and better looking
