Default Need advice on which clutch to buy.

I have an MY98 WRX and need to fit a new clutch. It will be a DIY job so I just need to know who can supply me one for a reasonable cost. Is it the same part as a UK car or are they different?

Not sure of the power output as AndyF did not want to predict. I'm pretty sure its no more than 350bhp though.

Any help would be good.

Cheers,

Wayne.

IMHO:
I would fit an AP organic/Exedey.
My AP has been 100% with the 407 x 340 engine and hill climb race 'action' now for 2 years.
I think David at www.apiengines.com is having a Group Buy on the Exedey unit.

AP is smooth and will take the 'dump the clutch' starts, no judder either.

Graham.

There's also the Lateral Perfromance clutch kits. I ran one the organic ones on my car and gave it some really heavy abuse, never had any problems with slip, judder etc and it was so easy to drive every day.

You'll need to call Mark to discuss

Cheers guys!

I know David will know this, but is the clutch the same, in terms of physical dimensions, as a UK version?

And what about this kit from GGR? Any good for what I need. Its £60 cheaper ont bay than direct from their website.
