Default £800 to spend - what should I do?

Just had my 02 Bugeye PPP'd (wow what a difference), I have some cash left to spend. Where do you think I should spend the rest of my money.

More Power?

Brakes?

Suspension?

Gauges?

Something else?

Get a Whiteline rear 22mm ARB and solid drop links, it will tranform the handling. Drop a set of eibachs on aswell and your car is about as perfect for fast road handlinding and general day to day comfort as you can get!! That lot will cost you about £450.

You sould spend the rest on upgrading the pads and discs (ferrodo 2500 pads and a et of discs from godspeed/tarrox/ebc).

That will be the end of the £800, but will give lots of fun!!

If you've just upped the power, just enjoy it for the moment....i'd go for suspension, to really get the most from the new power.....could go for a coilover kit but i reckon most people would recommend uprated springs, dampers and lots of lovely whiteline goodies, ARBs, droplinks, antilift kits etc.....

Tough choice.

Gauges are useful for keeping an eye on the health of your car, should get a nice set of Defi's (Oil Temp, Oil Pressure, Boost Pressure) with some change. Air/Fuel and KnockLink (hope PSL doesn't see this!) also useful.

Suspension, if you haven't done so already a four wheel alignment to Prodrive (or similar) settings is well worthwhile. If your anywhere near Powerstation it's worth a trip as they are the experts in all things bouncy. Then uprated roll bar(s), solid drop links, anti-lift kit, stiffer springs, etc. Should get a fair amount of bits for £800.

Brakes, the ideal upgrade is to a big brake kit such as the AP 6 pots, but that is around twice your budget. Godspeed do an upgrade package for the existing 4 pot calipers that may be worth a look and within budget. Or just some uprated pads, discs, braided lines and change the brake fluid to a higher grade.

Get some more money and but some AP 6-pots on your car its the best upgrade you will ever buy.

People forget that you dont need horsepower to make your car quicker these kits are worth 3-4 seconds a lap around donnington park.

Got to agree with upgrading brakes if you are using the car on track, but for road driving i personally think the standard 4 pots (with better pads and discs) are perfectly adequate
