whats the crack with that? PPP = new backbox yea?

 

If one didnt have a prodrive backbox, I can only assume that the buyer asked for it not to be put on until the 1000 mile service. It is the full PPP including Prodrive exhaust.

Have you seen the graphics down the side....?? But its only on one side? Maybe the photos were taken when the vehicle was 'dead' and the ECU was sent to Prodrive prior to the PPP being fitted...

 

I must be bored, I just rang them - as I expected, until the car is bought, there is no point sending off the ECU to be remapped and fit all the rest of the kit.

They are not paid for the work involved until the invoice for the vehicle is paid, therefore they will not do the work until just before delivery.

 

Do you feel like me that we are the only two WRX300 owners in the world......!!!!!!! With C2ForWRX soon...??? Surely there must be more owners on here?

 

What the **** are them graphics all about. It makes you wonder if the car was actually destined to be a different more tarted up SWRT replica with lots of stickers etc in before IM thought better of it.

If they had them stickers on when I bought it you would be the only owner!!!!

Should be a good deal going on that being pre-registered £19000ish which would make a £16k import a non starter. I'd have asked the feller a bit more but he was a bit to eager in a salesy type of way so I just got off the phone as quick as I could.

 

Picked up mine 2 weeks ago - really happy with it and have the 1000 mile service on Friday. The PPP is only fitted once the car is ordered by the customer, but you don't have to have it if you don't want said the dealer (like yeah, who wouldn't?)

As I'm new to scoobs, I assume that the exhaust pictured below is the best way to check the PPP is fitted?

Or why not do yourself a favour and buy a 2nd hand '04 ppp wrx in blue and save yourself 4-5 grand. Get some fog covers and stickers and hey presto!

 

simple fact is im 20 years old. no one will qoute me on any scoob untill im 21 with the exception of the new wrx300 which i think is a bargain for 19K. id take those stickers off and get high spoiler, and corner splitters straight away straight away.

in an ideal world want a std black wrx as i can get a 6 month old one for 15K (my budget) but i cannot insure it til im 21 and i cant be arrssed waiting that long.

troble is i can get insured on wrx300 now but its 3-4K more than i wanted to pay for my first scooby.

Im putting in the overtime tho guys, maybe one day.

 

tbh - makes me realise why I put wider 18s on my 03 WRX...

 

Yeah why dont we do that and pay the premium in insurance due to it being a WRX + PPP instead of PPP as standard......

Anyway the MY05 is a better car.....

 

couldn't agree more, its a bargain, even if a little more than i want to pay. i would prefer grey wheels though.
