gonna have a crack at this for a laugh

BIG Loud Exhausts?? - not sure, the one i picked was the most quiet full performance system that delivers , the 3" revolution system, pretty quiet for scoobys to be fair

Clear Indicator Lenses?? - crashed the car and the clears from ebay were much cheaper then the standerd orange ones from subaru - winner!!

CockLinks and other mickey mouse things to try and impress your mates?? - no cocklinks in sight

Dump Valves that go "WHOOOOOOSH I'm a Dick"?? - hate these with a passion

BIG Spoilers?? - stuck with the standerd spoiler for 3 years until i recently swapped for sumthing else, purely to help the car stand out more (its used as a buisness advert) i have kept the standerd one for refitment

Speed Trap Detectors, that don't work!?? - never ever bought one

Speeding EVERYWHERE?? - im cutting back and i only do it past old peoples homes and the odd school now

Soulgirl - Discounts on what? I do criminal law, so I don't discount anything!
I am a solicitor working in a magistrates' court sending scumbag car thieves etc to prison.
Don't do divorces, house sales etc.

When £350 of Piper exhaust system rusted and fell to bits in less than 2 years....I was 19.

A harsh lesson that most aftermarket "performance" parts are indeed quite the opposite in both quality, reliability, longevity and performance gains. Further ingrained by fast roads pads that didn't work when cold which nearly killed me - even though their advertising clearly stated and still does: "good bite from cold"

I don't think there is ever any need to outgrow performance parts.

Mabye when im older with a family i will tone down a bit lol... but otherwise why have a perfornace car which is subtle.... ?

Why block up the exhaust system?
Why not release the excess air?
Why not improve the look?

If no... go and buy a Focus or a Mondeo... not a performance car!

Lol..... maybe when my hearing gets bad i will stick wit a standard exhaust etc..lol

Strange that .... I can't remember blocking up the exhaust??

Why not release the excess air?

Just a guess .... doesn't it knacker your engine?? as well as making you look a right wally??

Why not improve the look?

Who to?? The local Council Estate tarts and tartlets??

You are clearly 17 years old and have a Nova with a stick-on scoop ..... which is OK, but this is a grown-up thread .................
