Replacing early power steering reservoir with later one?????
I have my power steering reservoir leeking, its the older round type. I was wondering if it was possible to swap it for a later, more square type?
If so what exactly is required and is it an easy job?
Thanks

Easy peasy fella
It's pretty much a straight swap apart from thet small bit of hose that runs from the pipe on the bottom. That will just need trimming a bit
I've got one from a MY99 on my MY95

actually this one might be better (no SX FPR in the way and a little less bling!
) so you can see the hose i'm talking about:

Get hold of some of those rubber circular seals for underneath as well just to be on the safe side
I just picked up a varied selection in Halfrauds & one fitted
Oh & some Dextron II fluid
Other than that all you should need is a socket set, a stanley knife (for the hose) and a lot of kitchen roll
