We maybe different on this BZZ, but if my scoob was pinched, I wouldnt want it back. Not after some little **** has ragged the ar$e off it, causing damage that might not become aparant till weeks or even months of having the car returned.

Very true Cookstar, hadn't really thought of that. Feel sorry for scooby/do though!! As if it's not bad enough losing your Scoob, they had the ***** to break into his house for the keys too!! *******s!! I hope they get caught. I've been burgled before, horrible feeling. I mean, your home is your own personal, private place. For some sod to violate that privacy and then take your pride and joy too...... I'm sure every Scoobynet member would help you get revenge if they could mate!!

Revenge.. As everybody says would be a lovely thing, BUT taking the law into your own hands, is just something you cant get away with. Seeking revenge through violent actions etc, places you into the same scum pool that these ***** climb in and out off!

The only way to get over this is work even harder, buy yourself another one, and just hope some form of terminal cancer strikes every piece of thieving/vandalising piece of $hit down.

P.S Scooby/do I hope your family where not too shaken by the break in.

Normally, members wouldn't give their registration numbers out, but in this case it might be useful.... not saying should/shouldn't, it's up to you.... On the more positive side, at least they didn't attack you or your kids!! You did the right thing, just let them get on with it, not endangering yourself or your kids, IMHO. After all, people are more important than cars!!

Cookstar - right once again! Although there's more than one way to skin a cat (car thief, burglar, etc....), violence not necessarily one of them.....

That was my point Scooby/do about what they would/could have done if they couldnt find the keys.. They came to your home for one thing, and my guess is they would not have been very happy to leave empty handed.

Most of these kind of thefts are done to order, with the car sold before its even stolen. Grannys get beaten half to death for 50 pence, what do you think the scum might have done to you/kids for the keys.

Oh god here i go again Rant Rant ..... Sorry

Jeez Scooby/do!! Sounds like you live in a dodgy area!! It makes me SO angry that this kind of thing is going on, and the police do bugger all to stop it, instead they're more interested in issuing speeding tickets...at 5 am!! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthread.php?t=430559
What is happening to this country?????

I have a baseball bat under my bed, I would like to see them ask me politely for the keys. Fxkers! Ive had two cars stolen so far and it isnt nice. Inconvenience more than anything. Theft takes the longest to resolve with insurance and you dont get a courtesy car. 6 weeks you have to wait, to see if it turns up. Then insurance company offers you lowest book price, then you have to refuse and get another pathetic offer, then refuse again till they pay top whack. 8 - 10 weeks without money is a long time when you rely on a car

Gutted for you Scooby/do we had a 2000 v reg type r stolen from our garage some years back, complete professional d***heads they were and also moved all the cars and motorbikes around ( not a scratch to these ). They broke in the m.o.t station behind then bolt cropped our roller door, all alarms sirens were blaring away ( they did all this in the dark and not one person witnessed it). The main thing is you and your family are ok and get some cctv camaras put up. Maybe redcare is a good idea too. Regards Nathan.

That is a rarity.....Out at a meet on Sunday in Cornwall and 1 of them had the STI in that colour....everyone thought it was a WR1....There certainly aren't many of them on the road.....Sorry for your loss and glad none of you were harmed......Got a 4 Legged Burglar alarm who actually Barks and Growls even when 1 of the neighbours go to their Cars. Personally always have my keys with me at all times.

I know it`s probably really silly, because it`s so far away, but I have a business in Sutton-In-Ashfield/Notts and I found a Brand New Mini key on my premises. Which had been thrown over my wall. Why the hell would anybody do that??? It had a bit of black elastic attached to it.

Followed a light blue WRX in Bristol Bath area yesterday, driven quite sedately. Can't remember the reg but it looked quite standard with low level spoiler. Just how rare is this colour?
