Just seen an X reg P1 outside Halfords looking great. Is this someone on the BBS? Aylesbury seems to be full of Scoobies tonight!!!

 

Not surprised really.

I popped into Adams last week and they had 6, including 1 they had for servicing.

 

I assumed a few maybe "camped" around Aylesbury tonight in preparation for a early trip to TRAX??

 

Saw my first P1 at Oulton park last W/end.
Parked in the paddock complete with baby seat in the back.

 

I was in Adams, Aylesbury last week and, yes, they had at least 2 P1's fresh in. I had spotted two others on the way - having previously never seen another on the roads. Adam's have sold over twenty, which means P1 are common as muck around Aylesbury it seems.

Interestingly, ongoing problems with the paintwork on the P1 spoiler means that cars are being delivered with an STi spoiler.

The paintwork in the indented "P1" logo on my car has also bubbled. Which means my car will probably be fitted with an "intermdiate" STi spoiler until IM can sort out its supplier.

 

Odd this - I'd heard about early problems, but didn't realise they were still about. Where are the common spots for this paint problem? When does it become apparent? Got my P1 in May, and it all seems to be fine at the moment.

Must say, I'd be a bit miffed about getting an STI spoiler - part of the reason for getting the P1 was because it had aerodynamics that served a purpose other than pose!

 

Does anyone here own WDE, round Surrey/Sussex? If so, a) own up, and b) give us a wave; boost my flagging ego!
