I now use Tesco 99 Ron, 87.9p, it really is good stuff! The car feels more responsive and pulls much better in 4th and 5th. It's also cheaper than optimax.

I tried the tesco stuff but found it rather poor. Seemed to have more lag and was less responsive. Spose I should use a few tanks to test it properly, I just don't like putting s/market in any of my cars.

optimax 91.9p has been at that price for a month in leicester,
yet in notts it cost me 85.9p when i went there last week.
Takes the p*ss, 6p difference and they probably get delivery from the same tanker. soon adds up when your putting in 45 litres every 3-4 days.

Just filled up with Optimax on the London Road, Brighton at 87.9p. Last week paid 92.9 at Telscombe Cliffs. Worth the diversion I believe
